What your children may need from you - Infant Diaries

This is the first part of the series of posts 'What your Children may need from you.' This part is focused on infants up to the age of 5 years old. This post is for all the parents, especially Indians, out there with one child at the very least. Also, I am no parent an I am writing this post from the perspective of a child. I would refer to a child as she to neutralize the male dominance in the society, at least as much as I can. From the moment a child enters the world, the first thing she gets to know is Mother, for those who don't, I really wish you could. For a child, her mother is the anchor in a sea of unknown faces. If she is insecure, she would cry and we all know that her mother can bring her security. Food, sanitation or any other problem an infant may have, mother is the one she would call for. So what all would your child require of you? Let's take it step-by-step: 1. Your attention - Yes, your child would require your attention. She is very

Just when I thought I got it...

Hey world, I woke up this morning to a shrill note of my mum's voice trying to tell me how much work has to be done by 7.30. Have you ever got that feeling that you are just not ready to get up yet? That it's too soon to get out of bed. Well, I had that same feeling, but I had to get up and iron dad's clothes for office. I so wanted to go back to sleep after I was done, but I knew that mum would just do the same thing as soon as I am asleep. So, I brushed my teeth, ate breakfast and with staggering steps got to my bed. Now imagine that after a hard nights work you get to sleep on your so nice and warm bed. But your parents are the type that can't see you sleep after 6.00 a.m. (in my case its 5.00 a.m. and I'm not joking). I was awake all night due to my work, and very tired. I tried again 4 times to sleep, every time I was asked to do something or the other. After 6th attempt I got so irritated that I just walked into the bathroom and took a really long show

Postknight (Unreleased) Android and iOS Game - Review

The under-development Android and iOS game by Kurechii, Postknight is now available on Play Market for Early Access Download. It has been announced that the game will be released officially on 9th of February. The game is an RPG set in bite-size style. The cute small characters and the nicely designed green game environment looks very pretty. The game looks very soothing while small missions and 'deliveries' make the game enjoyable while not being frustrating. You are a Postknight, meaning you will 'deliver anying, to anywhere'. Now this motto is something that will tell you about the game. The game starts with you at Headquarters where you are immediately assigned a delivery at Pompon Village. When you reach there, you find that all of the villagers have fled due to a rumour of dragon attack, so now its your job to find all the villagers, get the deliveries done, get yourself knighted and improve your rankings. Like all RPG's the game also has following
