How boys feel when they are in love?

That is quite a good question. We have a lot of information about how a girl feels when she falls in love, like she gets butterflies, she has you on her mind 24/7, she would smile at random times at the thought of you,etc. But most of the girls don't know how a boy would feel when he is in love. Guys 'feel' love - they 'process' love - they 'understand love - differently than girls do. So lets have a little insight on that shall we.

I once heard a woman say, "A man in love is just a simple man. They love every beautiful girl." Well that's just stereotyping a man in love. I must emphasize that a guy in love is no simple guy. He is the most complex person of all humans you can find. When a guy loves a girl, believe me when I say it, he is as unpredictable as nature itself. Once we guys start loving a girl, there is no going back. We can be persistent and stubborn about it. No matter how hard we try we will always love a girl that has touched our heart. We can show you how to appreciate the beauty of the world in a thousand ways and then we will tell you how much we appreciate your beauty in a million ways.

When we guys fall in love, we don't get butterflies, we get fireworks. We might not have you on our minds 24/7 but we do have you on our hearts all the time. We wait for you to go online and sometimes just being online together with you our heart skips a beat, even if we don't talk. Whenever you talk to us, our face forms that half smile which means we are happy but are trying our hardest to not show it and fail at hiding. We do miss you all the time and if possible we would spend all our time with you. We don't think of the smallest things you say, we think of every word you say, panicking at every single word, trying to define what it really means, to read between the lines. We think of you first thing in the morning and last before we sleep at night. Whenever we see a couple, our thoughts jump to you immediately and we imagine that the couple was us.

We guys don't need to be made feel safe by you. Most guys process love not so much by feeling as if they belong to you or their heart. Guys are fairly Binary. In any situation, a man feels that he is either 'winning' or 'losing'. If he feels he can win with you, he will more likely try harder to be the guy who earns and wins your heart. His 'body' is the bridge to his heart. Your fragrance, your touch, your softness, the sweet electricity that runs through our body when your loving hand caresses our heads, rests on our chest or gently strokes our forearms opens up our vaults of feeling and vulnerability. We feel like a "Knight" for you. We feel that we are battling to win your heart and deepen your devotion. We might be trying to be your hero by making a living or fighting for a cause. We may show it by doing big things like going against age-old traditions for you or with smallest of acts like buying you a chocolate when you want it.

We guys are easily threatened if you talk to other guys in front of us. But at the same time we feel like we are at the top of the world if you cling to us in front of other guys who like you. We may not be vocal about it but we love you nevertheless. We feel more comfortable letting you know we love you through our actions than our words.

But even with love, we need a lot of respect from you. Give a guy respect and he will love you more. Take control of the relationship instead and he'll shrivel into a shell.
