Becoming a guiding light for someone...

Now, I don't wanna brag about myself, so I will say this beforehand, that this is about me but in a good way and not as arrogance and attitude.

Yesterday I met a girl at my workplace. She is a new in-training colleague. Now this is not about what comes to your mind immediately. This girl is being mentioned because she wants to start up a blog. And I somehow got to know it while having a casual conversation. So we immediately got to talking about this crazy thing, and in a crazy way.

I must say here that I love blogging, Though, I do not get much time to blog, you know being busy and all. the usual excuse. But I do love it. And whenever I can, I Blog. Now this girl wants to start up a blog and cannot decide what topic to start with, how to go about it, and rest of the things we all would have thought of when we planned on starting up a blog. I understood her situation because around 4 years ago I was in a similar situation, and there was nobody to help me out.

Finding a fellow blogger was so exciting for me, I decided to help her and see what kind of blog she will create. and so I became a sort of blogging mentor for her which felt good. (I would like to add that I do not consider myself a very good blogger, being inconsistent and all.) So I told her about starting platform, Blogger.com, which is the easiest to handle, as I have seen in the past years, while being dynamic to changes in design and content.

I would welcome suggestion from other bloggers on how to go about giving her good advice on doing this.

It felt good saying this to her,
"Think on, Post on, Share on..."
