Postknight (Unreleased) Android and iOS Game - Review

The under-development Android and iOS game by Kurechii, Postknight is now available on Play Market for Early Access Download. It has been announced that the game will be released officially on 9th of February. The game is an RPG set in bite-size style. The cute small characters and the nicely designed green game environment looks very pretty. The game looks very soothing while small missions and 'deliveries' make the game enjoyable while not being frustrating.

You are a Postknight, meaning you will 'deliver anying, to anywhere'. Now this motto is something that will tell you about the game. The game starts with you at Headquarters where you are immediately assigned a delivery at Pompon Village. When you reach there, you find that all of the villagers have fled due to a rumour of dragon attack, so now its your job to find all the villagers, get the deliveries done, get yourself knighted and improve your rankings.

Like all RPG's the game also has following features:
- Setting various attributes for the character namely Strength, Agility, Intelligence and Vitality.
- You can grab various weapons and armour for your character.
- You have potions for your character
- Blacksmith and alchmist are available for upgrading your weapons/armour and potions with various item requirements
- You have missions board
- You get to kill various enemies and yes, there are boss fights too.
- Apart from these features the game also has a relationship feature which shows you how close you are to certain characters (all female)

The downside of the game is that you cannot choose your character since there is only one, not even your gender. You can obviously suggest this to developers since the game is still in development phase.

Over all, I would give Postknight 3.5 rating out of 5. It would have made 4+ with character choice available. Lets see how it fairs after launch.

Till the next time. Ciao

Nintendo Emulator Update

Sorry guys. Last time when I was writing the post on emulators for handheld gaming devices I forgot to mention the Nintendo DS emulator for windows. So this is an update. The best emulator for Nintendo DS is DeSmuME. Yes, that's a complicated name but the emulator is pretty good and let me tell you its an emulator for one the best gaming devices ever. You can get this Emulator from here: Desmume 0.9.10 x86 Unfortunately emulation of the Nintendo DS is still at an early stage. No emulator exists yet which can play most games properly. This means the current focus of emulator authors is to make their emulators more accurate, which in turn means that optimization has less priority. Due to this, even if a game can be played, it might run extremely slow - even on the fastest PCs available today. But still the above mentioned Emulator is the best till now.

Respect or money, Which is important?

“A person should not run after money in life, it should be respect he must look for and try his hardest. Money will come eventually.” This was a statement said to me by one of my close friends. But is it really so, I wonder sometimes. In this era of materialistic life and money-minded people, can respect be earned if you don’t have money? I personally think otherwise. I have found through my experiences and by watching others lives, that when we have money, we get respect. And even if you earned good respect while you had money, once it’s gone, your earned respect will also start to fade away from people’s hearts. You would wonder why I would say this. So let me give you an example. One of my acquaintances, a very good guy by nature and character, worked in a firm. He earned enough to make his life comfortable. In his 8 months of working, and a year since I have known him, whenever a friend of his needed some help from him he would run to his aid. Be it money, time or his a...
